Description

This innovative new programme is designed to Activate, Inspire and Motivate Bermuda's students through action in the environment or at the Bermuda National Trust's historic buildings and landmarks.

Every secondary school student in Bermuda is required to complete community service hours in order to graduate and this programme can give students the opportunity to fulfill that requirement with meaningful, charitable giving.

Combining community service, education and the great outdoors facilitates valuable links for youth development, character building and potential career opportunities.

AIM hosts service opportunities for students offering a wide range of options, from clearing invasive species in our nature reserves to painting railings surrounding an historic cemetery. Every activity will bring students into contact with their natural or cultural heritage, under the direction of a knowledgeable supervisor, and inspire in them a desire to protect what we have while connecting with their shared and rich history in a meaningful way.
